    La red de almacenes reguladores de aceite se inició en 1945; y hasta 1960 construyó doce unidades, once de las cuales se ejecutaron en Andalucía y una en Extremadura. Aunque programadas en tres fases, tipológica y constructivamente las podríamos clasificar en dos grupos: almacenes con trujales semienterrados y almacenes con trujales elevados. Siendo unos la evolución y mejora de los otros, los diseños de estos últimos presentaron unas innovadoras soluciones arquitectónicas y constructivas en el campo de la arquitectura industrial vinculada a la producción de aceite de oliva en España.Después de analizar todos los expedientes relativos a los almacenes reguladores de aceite construidos entre 1945 y 1960 en el Archivo de la Fundación Patrimonio Comunal Olivarero - Sindicato Vertical del Olivo, se pretende con este artículo contribuir al conocimiento de la arquitectura industrial agroalimentaria a través de estos innovadores almacenes.

    Twelve units belonged to the Olive Oil warehouses were built between 1945 and 1960. They were located in Andalusia except one of them which was settled in Extremadura. Although they were planned in three stages, we can classify them into two groups: olive oil warehouses that were half-buried and those on the surface above ground. There were improvements and a development between them but it is necessary to acknowledge the surface warehouses because they present innovative architectonical and constructive solutions in the field of the industrial architecture related to olive oil production in Spain. Before analysing all the expedients related to the olive oil warehouses built between 1945 and 1960 which are kept at the Archive of the “Fundación Patrimonio Comunal Olivarero - Sindicato Vertical del Olivo”, the aim of this paper is to contribute to the study and knowledge of the architecture pertaining to agricultural industry through these innovative warehouses.
