Resumen de Mundos posibles y transmisión de las masculinidades. Pensando con `Star Wars`

La teoría de los mundos posibles nos abre la puerta a pensar en las identidades masculinas y su trasmisión a través del diálogo con la saga cinematográfica, “Star Wars” (las dos primeras trilogías). Para ello se propone un recorrido argumentativo que transcurre por: la presentación de los estudios de hombres; la conceptualización de la masculinidad hegemónica y la asociación entre ésta y el heroísmo; y la correspondencia entre la tradición militar - mesiánica y la narrativa del camino del héroe. El artículo continúa reflexionando sobre la trasmisión de las masculinidades a través de las relaciones paternofiliales y de mentoría, esto último en relación directa con la trama de la citada saga; para acabar con una reflexión que apunta a la necesidad de crear nuevas genealogías masculinas

The theory of possible worlds opens the door to think into the masculinities identities and theirs transmisión through dialogue with the cinematic saga, “Star Wars” (the two first trilogies). Therefore, is proposed in this text, to make an argumentative tour which deals with the following points: the presentation of men´s studies; the conceptualization of hegemonic masculinity and the asociation between this one and heroism; and the correspondence between the military-messianic tradition and narrative of the “héroe´s journey”. The article continues reflecting on the transmission of masculinities through fatherhood and mentoring relationships, this on, regarding the plot of the saga. At the end, this text reflecting about the need to create new masculinities genealogies.
