  Al fuerte crecimiento turístico de la última década, se han unido factores económicos coyunturales como la dificultad de muchas familias para hacer frente a los pagos de hipotecas de viviendas de primera o segunda residencia motivados por la crisis económica y la expansión de plataformas y aplicaciones informáticas que han facilitado la interconexión entre demandantes y oferentes de viviendas turísticas. El resultado ha sido la aparición de nuevas formas de alojamientos no estándar y el encarecimiento y escasez de la vivienda de uso residencial en el entorno de los centros históricos y culturales de muchas ciudades. En este documento se estudian los factores que han posibilitado el desarrollo del turismo urbano desde el punto de vista del alojamiento, y las consecuencias que está teniendo para el acceso a la vivienda de sus residentes en la ciudad de Málaga.

  To the strong tourism growth of the last decade, they have joined economic factors such as the difficulty of many families to cope with mortgage payments of first or second homes motivated by the economic crisis and the expansion of platforms and computer applications that have facilitated the interconnection between demanders and suppliers of tourist homes. The result has been the appearance of new forms of non-standard accommodation and the increase and scarcity of housing for residential use in the surroundings of the historical and cultural centres of many cities. This document examines the factors that have enabled the development of urban tourism from the standpoint of housing, and the consequences it is having for access to the housing of its residents in the city of Malaga
