    En el año 2005 la Catedral de Pamplona y el Departamento de Cultura-Institución Príncipe de Viana firmaron un convenio de colaboración en el que ponían en valor la importancia de conservar y difundir el patrimonio bibliográfico. En el siguiente artículo tras dar unas pinceladas a lo ya expuesto hasta hoy por investigadores que nos han precedido en el estudio de la biblioteca de la catedral, presentamos la motivación de dicho convenio, la gestión que realizamos en la catedral desde la firma del mismo y finalmente destacamos la importancia de la existencia y la labor de preservación y difusión que poseen las bibliotecas patrimoniales.

    2005. urtean Iruñeko Katedralak eta Kultura Zuzendaritza Nagusia-Vianako Printzea Erakundeak lankidetza hitzarmen bat sinatu zuten non ondare bibliografikoa babestearen eta hedatzearen garrantzia nabarmentzen zuten. Artikulu honetan, gure aurreko ikerlariek katedraleko liburutegiaren gainean egindako ikerlanetako zertzelada batzuk eman ondoren, hitzarmenaren motibazioa azalduko dugu, hitzarmena sinatu zenetik zein izan den guk egindako ekarpena eta, bukatzeko, ondare-liburutegiek bere baitan ondarearen babesean eta hedapenean daukaten garrantzia azpimarratuko dugu.

    In 2005, the Pamplona Cathedral and the Culture Department-Prince of Viana Institution signed a collaboration agreement in which they pointed out the value of the importance of preserving and spreading the bibliographic heritage. In the next article, after saying a Little to what has been explained by our preceded researches in the Cathedral Library study, we introduce the motivation of the already stated agreement, the management we carried out in the Cathedral since the signing of this agreement and finally we emphasise the importance of the existence and the preserving and spreading work patrimonial libraries possess.
