Resumen de Sur une biographie attendue de Genet: la vérité de la littérature

Pierre-Marie Héron

  • Not the first biography since Genet's death, Edmund White's is the most interesting begging the comparison with Sartre's. It first differs by its scope slightfy marred by tual errors whose impact, however, is to distort the relationship between an artist's life and work, wich Sartre dialecticised — if excessively. White's project reconstructs the man from the work, an misses the work.
