Resumen de O conceito de gramática no percurso da gramaticografia brasileira do século XX

This paper intends to comment on the concept of grammar in Brazil throughout the 20th century, as well as on the motivations and implications regarding this topic. The paper makes special reference to the teleological role of the grammatical text, the nature of its corpus and the limits that are imposed on the task of describing the rules of the linguistic system in view of other factors, such as usage variants and style.

Este trabalho busca traçar juízo sobre a mudança do conceito de gramática no Brasil ao longo do século XX, bem como comentar os motivos e implicações atinentes a esse tema. Faz-se referência ao papel teleológico do texto gramatical, à natureza do corpus de abonação e aos limites que se impõem à tarefa de descrever as regras do sistema linguístico em face de outros fatores, tais como as variantes de uso e estilo.
