  • The making of a sizable hypertext on Celine's Rigodon exemplifies the ressources and ensuing constraints of the medium. Issues, particularly controversial ones such as the author's racism, must be ported but not resolved, enabling the reader to form his/her own judgement. Granular writing exacts clarity and explicitness. It may offer scholars in the humanities a middle-way between belles-lettres and expert systems.
