    En este articulo por razones analíticas nos limitamos a la participación de la mujer en el mercado de trabajo, reconociendo que existen otros ámbitos no menos importantes como la participación en la educación y en la esfera política que deben alcanzarse para superar la subordinación de genero existente en la sociedad. Se reconoce también que estas distintas esferas de participación están vinculadas estructuralmente mediante la cultura, y que la posición que puede alcanzarse en un ámbito esta relacionada directamente con los otros.

    In this paper, for analytical reasons, we limit our study to the participation of women in the labour market, recognizing that there are other scopes not less important, like the participation in the education and in the political sphere, that must be reached to overcome the existing gender subordination in society. It is also recognized that these different spheres of participation are conected by means of the culture, and that the position that can be reached in a particular field is directly related to the others.
