  Charles Moeller es conocido por su gran obra Literatura del siglo XX y cristianismo en 6 volúmenes. En este artículo estudiamos sus primeras obras (especialmente Humanismo y santidad) donde desarrolla su idea de humanismo cristiano en diálogo implícito con Nietzsche: a la figura del superhombre, Moeller contrapone la figura del santo como aquel hombre que trasciende lo meramente humano, superando así la visión del humanismo griego que aspira tan solo a conseguir lo que puede ser alcanzado por las fuerzas humanas.

  Charles Moeller is known for his great work 20th Century Literature and Christianity in 6 volumes. In this article we study his first works (especially Humanism and Holiness) where he develops his idea of Christian humanism in implicit dialogue with Nietzsche: to the figure of superman, Moeller contrasts the figure of the saint as that man who transcends the merely human, thus overcoming the vision of Greek humanism that aspires only to obtain what can be achieved by human forces.
