    El presente artículo pretende analizar la influencia de la Fiesta de las Mondas y el culto de la Virgen María sobre la sociedad de Talavera en la Época Moderna. Se realiza un estudio sobre la religiosidad y su influencia en la sociedad de la localidad toledana respecto a una de las fiestas más antiguas del país y como actúa de aglutinador sobre su económica, la sociedad y la religión.

    This paper aims to analyze the influence of the Fiesta de las Mondas and the cult of the Virgin Mary on the Talavera society in the Modern Era. A study is carried out on religiosity and its influence on the society of the Toledo town regarding one of the oldest festivals in the country and how it acts as a glue on its economy, society and religion.
