    El materialismo filosófico de Gustavo Bueno ha propuesto una sistematización de la teología política, a partir de criterios estrictamente gnoseológicos. Dicha formalización se basa en la «estructura metafinita» que muestra este campo de estudio. En su composición lógica, institución religiosa e institución política se manifiestan como «conceptos diaméricos» en continua evolución a lo largo de la historia. La teoría de las esencias genéricas permite analizar el núcleo esencial de esta disciplina, su cuerpo y su curso evolutivo, desde sus orígenes hasta sus formas secularizadas. Esta reconstrucción de las dimensiones metapolíticas del estado responde a la importancia que posee la teología política para garantizar la sistematicidad de la propia filosofía política, al margen de cualquier interés pragmático o confesional.

    The philosophical materialism of Gustavo Bueno has proposed a systematization of political theology, from strictly gnoseological criteria. This formalization is based on the «metafinite structure» shown in this field of study. In its logical composition, the religious institution and the political institution manifest themselves as «diameric concepts» in con-tinuous evolution throughout history. The theory of generic essences allows us to analyze the essential nucleus of this discipline, its body and its evolutionary course, from its ori-gins to its secularized forms. This reconstruction of the meta-political dimensions of the state responds to the importance that political theology holds in order to ensure the sys-tematic nature of political philosophy itself, beyond any pragmatic or religious interest.
