    El escritor argentino Isidoro Blaisten (1933-2004) retrata, desde una versión paródica pero sutil, al hombre inmerso en el mundo social, en los conflictos de la búsqueda del humanismo proletario, en la supervivencia del capitalismo que lleva al individuo a la alienación cultural, política, económica. Este artículo revisa este posicionamiento frente al arte que distingue al autor bajo el adjetivo de “realista” e indaga, además, las lecturas de aquellos grafistas que en las tapas y portadas de las secciones que conforman su libro de minificción El mago en las ediciones de 1974 y 1991 aportaron a los sentidos de su narrativa.

    The Argentine writer Isidoro Blaisten (1933-2004) portrays, from a parody but subtle version, the man immersed in the social world, in the conflicts of the search for proletarian humanism, in the survival of capitalism that leads the individual to cultural, political, and economic alienation.
