The problem of fault tolerant control (FTC) with simultaneous faults, which are un-estimable, in presence of disturbance, is considered in this paper. Since this problem is hard, in order to allow its solvability, a class of plants is considered that satisfies an assumption on its outputs. For that class, it is shown that the fault vector can be replaced by a signal of reduced dimension, which is estimable. Then a minimal realization of an FTC controller based on the latter estimation is constructed. An illustrative example is given, which compares the controller of this paper with other controllers.
