• Resumen

  • As the pace of technological development accelerates, a resumption of discussions on the revision of philosophical perspectives of futuristic designs is deemed necessary. In the present article, philosophies of some design schools (i.e. those in Japan, English-speaking countries, Continental Europe) and the Workshop Design-Konstruktion school are discussed. A more speculative approach to design research is proposed in view of the need for scientific prediction of design implications and the responsibilities of design.
