The NE sector of the Baza basin shows Pleistocene very peculiar low angle landslides, that advance towards the N-NE in a deltaic environment. The landslides occurred in a period of regional tectonic activity implying important changes in the source areas of the detrital deposits. The most probably cause which trigger the movement was an earthquake.
