Resumen de Utopías y distopías del Barrio Toba: El cine como espacio de reflexión en una escuela intercultural

Este artículo analiza la práctica cinematográfica realizada con alumnos de una escuela de educación intercultural bilingüe (EIB) en el Barrio Toba de la ciudad de Resistencia (provincia del Chaco, Argentina). Indaga sobre el uso de la imagen audiovisual como registro de un presente distópico cuya percepción se agudiza como tal en la rememoración de las promesas utópicas de un pasado integracionista, promesas incumplidas que lo enrarecen de forma recursiva al revisitarlas y registrarlas en video. Estudia, asimismo, cómo el cine puede ser una herramienta reflexiva en el marco de los procesos de aprendizaje desarrollados a partir de una EIB y servir para articular el espacio escolar y su entorno. Por otra parte, explora la noción de mise-en-abyme en el cine indígena y la expande al interjuego generacional e intercultural.

This article analyzes the cinematographic practice that has been carried out together with students of a school which provides Bilingual Intercultural Education (BIE) located in Barrio Toba, a neighborhood in the city of Resistencia (Province of Chaco, Argentina). It inquires into the use of the audiovisual image as a register of a dystopian present, a perception which is sharpened in the remembrance of the utopian promises of an integrationist past that have been broken.
When revisited and recorded on video this past is recursively rarified. It also studies how cinema can be a reflective tool in the framework of learning processes developed by BIE and how it can serve to articulate the school space with its surrounding. On the other hand, it explores the notion of mise-en-abyme in indigenous cinema and expands it to the generational and intercultural interplay.
