This contribution presents a characterization of erosive processes and features identified in a sector of the Southern Ranges of the Buenos Aires Province, associated to agricultural and cattle activities and related infrastructure. Direct effects on landscape morphology produced by construction of anthropic geoforms and partial destruction of natural landforms have been identified. Indirect effects include the degradation and superimpose of natural geomorphological features caused by zoogeomorphic action associated to farming practices. This degradation seems not to be caused by recent climatic change but rather a consequence of a significant increase of surfaces exposed to erosive processes due to farming and track network. The results presented are preliminary, but suggest that human influence on geomorphic evolution of the area is likely more relevant than natural agents.
