Through the analysis, sedimentological description and the radiocarbon dating in four points of the same lithostratigraphic profile of the valley bottom, an attempt was made to obtain a framework for the Holocene modeling of the southern slope of the center of the Cantabrian Mountains. The study was carried out in one of the valleys of Alto Pisuerga, which is characterized by intense aggradation caused by intense episodes of snowmelt. This has allowed the identification of rhythms and sedimentary characteristics that indicate notable changes in hillside and fluvial Holocene charge, as well as a possible human intervention from around 5,500 BP.
