Resumen de Prácticas de responsabilidad ambiental en hoteles no categorizados de Risaralda

  Este artículo se enfoca en el servicio de alojamiento que prestan pequeños hoteles de los municipios de Risaralda, que conforman el Paisaje Cultural Cafetero, para conocer las percepciones y las actitudes de los empresarios frente al uso de recursos escasos renovables como agua y energía. Se pretende verificar qué conocen en estas organizaciones sobre prácticas ambientalmente responsables y cuáles se aplican para disminuir impactos negativos. El total de entrevistados reconoce la importancia de la conservación del medio ambiente para la actividad turística, sin embargo, desconocen los impactos generados por su actividad.

  In the department of Risaralda, Colombia, has identified tourism as an economic activity promising and at the same time a part of its territory has been inscribed by UNESCO as Cultural Landscape, which poses challenges to harmonize development of the population and conservation of its environmental assets (landscape) and cultural. One of the main impacts caused by the tourist activity is the environmental derived from the production of goods and the provision of services that meet the needs of the tourists. This article focuses on the hosting service that provide small hotels in the municipalities of Risaralda, which make up the Paisaje Cultural Cafetero, to learn about the perceptions and attitudes of employers against the use of scarce resources such as water and renewable energy. The aim is to verify that environmentally responsible practices known in these organizations and which apply to reduce negative impacts.
