The Mycosphaerellafragariaefungus, causal agent of strawberry leaf spots, is considered the main disease of the culture. The aim for the present work was to evaluate the mycelial growth of Mycosphaerellafragariae in different regimes of light and culture media. To evaluate the growth under different luminosity conditions, two treatments were made: dark and alternate light (12 hours light/12 hours dark); and to evaluate growth under different media, it was used:
PDA, oat-agar, water-agar, strawberry leaf-agar and strawberry fruit-agar. It was verified no significativediference on the growth under different luminosity conditions; and the growth was bigger on the PDA, strawberry leaf-agar and strawberry fruit –agar media.
