Fútbol femenino andino: una práctica deportiva translocal

    Resumen: Este artículo aporta, desde los estudios sociales sobre deporte y cultura, algunos elementos sobre el fútbol femenino andino en el norte chileno. En primer lugar, se presentan aspectos de la discusión sobre deportes y género para comprender, en un contexto intercultural, la práctica futbolística de mujeres aymaras desde una perspectiva interseccional. A través de una etnografía multisituada, se aborda la dinámica migratoria translocal y se presenta y problematiza el desarrollo histórico del fútbol femenino andino en la región de Tarapacá. Posteriormente, se describen diferentes espacios territoriales translocales en los que se desarrolla esta práctica deportivo-cultural. Cerramos el texto presentando el relato de la trayectoria deportivo- cultural de una futbolista aymara destacando el carácter multisituado y translocal de la práctica futbolística.

    Abstract: This article aims to contribute, from the perspective of social studies on sports and culture, some insights about Andean women’s soccer in the Chilean north. Elements of the discussion about sports and gender are presented to understand, in an intercultural context, the soccer practice of Aymara women from an intersectional perspective. Through a multi-situated ethnography, translocal migratory dynamics are addressed, and the historical development of Andean women’s soccer in the Region of Tarapacá is described. Different translocal territorial sports spaces are described. We close the text by presenting the cultural and sporting trajectory of an Aymara player, highlighting the multi-sited and translocal nature of soccer practice.
