    Los equipos que atienden a pacientes gravemente enfermos soportan tensiones emocionales de importante intensidad. Se hace necesario instaurar medidas de apoyo y aportar herramientas útiles para manejar los afectos movilizados. Los espacios de supervisión y los grupos Balint permiten a los profesionales expresar y analizar su inquietud; ya sea en el terreno de la dinámica de su propio equipo, ya sea en su relación con los pacientes, y, descubrir instrumentos para mejorar la situación. Ello comporta una medida de protección contra el agotamiento y el estrés profesional.

    The teams that attend seriously ill patients carry emotional tensions of great intensity. It becomes necessary to establish certain measures of support and to bring useful tools in order to handle the mobilized feelings. The spaces of supervision and the Balint groups allow professionals to express and analyze their worry, whether in the ground of the dynamics of their own team, or in their relations with the patients, and to discover instruments to improve the situation. This involves a measure of protection against exhaustion and professional stress.
