Resumen de Encrucijadas del sistema cultural en áreas naturales protegidas del centro de México

  Las Áreas Naturales Protegidas emergieron de propuestas político-ambientales de conservación, sin embargo, la difusa información sobre su categorización y delimitación territorial nos obliga a la articulación de lo social para profundizar en el manejo cultural de un Área Natural Protegida (ANP) comprendida en el centro de México. Lugar altamente industrializado y con una de las mayores tasas de crecimiento demográfico a nivel nacional. La pregunta es ¿Cuál es el alcance ambiental de los modelos participativos en el manejo de recursos naturales en un Área Natural Protegida de un espacio acuático del Estado de México? Se distinguen las diversas prácticas y discursos de los actuales beneficiarios. Se espera aportar algunos patrones culturales que apoyen a las actuales y futuras políticas de conservación ambiental, pero también se cree que es imperante instruir a los implicados de estos ecosistemas respecto al manejo cultural previo al manejo ambiental.

  The Protected Natural Areas emerged from politicalenvironmental conservation proposals, however, the diffuse information about their categorization and territorial delimitation forces us to articulate the social aspect to deepen the cultural management of a Natural Protected Area (ANP) included in the center of Mexico. This is a highly industrialized place with one of the highest rates of population growth nationwide.

  The question is: What is the environmental scope of the participatory models in the management of natural resources in a Natural Protected Area of a water area in the State of Mexico? The different practices and discourses of the current beneficiaries are distinguished. We expect to provide some cultural patterns that support current and future environmental conservation policies, but we also believe that it is imperative to instruct those involved in these ecosystems regarding cultural management prior to environmental management.
