Resumen de Brainstorming—From Classics to Electronics

Knut Holt

  • Classical group brainstorming, introduced by Alex Osborn in 1938, is the most widely used creativity technique. Written approaches based on manual and electronic methods have been developed. It appears that computer-aided brainstorming gives the best result, followed by brainwriting, and individual brainstorming. Last comes group brainstorming. A research programme in cooperation with the expert group Design Management of the International Society for Engineering Design has been organized in order to get a better foundation for the application of computer-aided creativity techniques.
