    El presente trabajo analiza la sentencia del TEDH «Ali Riza y otros c. Turquía». Los demandantes sostienen la falta de independencia e imparcialidad del Comité de Arbitraje de la Federación Turca de Fútbol a la hora de resolver sus litigios, lo que conllevaría la violación del art.6.1 del CEDH. La vinculación entre distintos órganos de la citada Federación habría influido negativamente en el sentido de sus decisiones. El TEDH estudia la naturaleza, composición y funcionamiento del Comité de Arbitraje y se pronuncia acerca de su independencia e imparcialidad.

    This work analyses the ECHR ruling «Ali Riza and others v. Turkey». The applicants alleged a lack of independence and impartiality of the Arbitration Committee of the Turkish Football Federation in the resolution of their disputes, which may lead to a violation of art.6.1 of the ECHR. The ties between different bodies of the Federation would have negatively influenced its decisions. The ECHR examines the nature, composition and functions of the Arbitration Committee and rules on its requirements of independence and impartiality.
