    A través de la sentencia objeto de estudio, se analiza si los deportistas profesionales tienen derecho a la indemnización por fin del término del contrato regulada en el artículo 49.1 c) ET. En este sentido, se tienen en cuenta varias cuestiones: el hecho de que se trate de un deportista de élite, la finalidad de la indemnización y el salario que percibía.

    The Laboral Superior Tribunal Judgment analyses wheter the sports proffesionals have the right of compensation due to the end of the term pacted in the contract regulated in the article 49.1 ET. This way, the legislator takes into consideration several points: the fact of being a sports profesional, the purpose of the compesation, and the amount of salary.
