    El presente trabajo tiene por objeto analizar la estructura y alcance de la nueva Directiva (UE) 2019/1937 del Parlamento Europeo y del Consejo, de 23 de octubre de 2019, relativa a la protección de las personas que informen sobre infracciones del Derecho de la Unión, a través de la cual se persigue fomentar la denuncia de infracciones del ordenamiento comunitario, obligando a las empresas a asegurar la confidencialidad de los canales que usan los informantes y a realizar las investigaciones de manera diligente, rápida y documentada.

    The purpose of this paper is to analyze the structure and scope of the new Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 23, 2019, on the protection of persons reporting on violations of Union Law, through which it is pursued to encourage the reporting of violations of the community order, forcing companies to ensure the confidentiality of the channels used by informants and to conduct investigations in a diligent, fast and documented manner
