Resumen de Introducción al Περὶ διαγνώσεως σφυγμῶν de Galeno: libros II-III

En este estudio se analiza el contenido de los libros segundo y tercero del tratado galénico titulado Περὶ διαγνώσεως σφυγμῶν (Sobre el conocimiento de los pulsos), en el que se detallan numerosas circunstancias que permiten al médico conocer el estado de un paciente. El tratado se inserta como segunda obra de su doctrina esfigmológica y fue redactada tras el tratado titulado Las diferencias de los pulsos y precedió a los tratados que tituló Las causas en los pulsos y El pronóstico a partir de los pulsos.

The contents of the books II and III of the galenic treatise entitled Περὶ διαγνώσεως σφυγμῶν (On the knowledge of the pulses) have been analysed in this paper. Many circunstances which allow to the doctor to know the condition of a patient areincluded in this work.
The treatise has to be considered as the second work about the sphygmologic doctrine of Galen and was composed after the treatise The differences of the pulses and before the treatises The causes of the pulses and The prognosis from the pulses.
