Resumen de Selección, cuestionarios y distorsión motivacional: (Actitud inteligente de adaptación)

En el presente trabajo se revisa una abundante bibliografía (extranjera y española) sobre la sinceridad o distorsión motivacional que está afectando a las evaluaciones que emplean el cuestionario como instrumento de medida. Así mismo, se comentan los resultados encontrados hasta el momento, principalmente en muestras españolas, sobre la medida y corrección de dicho fenómeno.
A la vista del amplio uso de los cuestionarios en nuestro país y de las notas negativas, o al menos peyorativas, de este constructo, se propone una hipótesis más positiva y útil para interpretar las puntuaciones obtenidas en esos instrumentos. Se definen como ACTITUD INTELIGENTE DE ADAPTACION del sujeto a las circunstancias en que es evaluado.
Desde esta perspectiva se revisan trabajos realizados anteriormente por el autor y otros investigadores españoles con diferentes cuestionarios. Así mismo, se presentan los resultados encontrados recientemente por el autor en siete muestras (una con más de treinta mil sujetos), en las que se han empleado los principales cuestionarios empleados en nuestro país: EPI A/B, EPQ A/J, MMPI y 16 PF Formas A/C/D, y otros de reciente introducción (CAQ Cuestionario de Análisis Clínico, SPS Escala Psicosocial Española, y A-D Antisocial-Delictivo).
En algunos análisis se desciende a la unidad de medida (el elemento) y el conjunto de evaluaciones se pone en relación con el sexo, la edad, los aspectos intelectuales, la conducta antisocial y las actitudes psicosociales.

This paper reviews Spanish and foreign works in relation with the dissimulation fenomena (lie, fakeness, social desirability, motivational distortion, and the like) that influence the questionnaire type measures.
Having in mind the large use of these instruments in our country, as well as the negative (or, at least, depreciatory) meaning of this psychological construct, a more positive and usefull hypothesis is suggested to interpret the dissimulation scores. It is defined an INTELLIGENT ADAPTATIVE ATTITUDE that the subject employs to adjust himself to the environmental settings of evaluation.
With this focus, previous researches made by the author and Spanish colleagues are reviewed, as well as recent results found by the author in seven Spanish samples (one with more than thirty thousand subjects) who have answered to the questionnaires more used in Spain: EPI A/B, EPQ A/J, MMPI and 16 PI` Forms A/C/D, as well as others of recent introduction as CAQ (Clinical Analysis Questionnaire), SPS (Spanish Psychosocial Scale) and A-D (Antisocial-Delinquent behaviour).
In some of the studies, the analysis is done to the item level, and all the measures are put into relation with the following variables: sexe, age, aptitudes, antisocial behaviour and psychosocial attitudes.
