El proceso de secularización en el Sexenio revolucionario (1868-1874) se refleja en los informes de los obispos de las distintas diócesis que envían a Roma. Remarcan el proceso creciente de mundanización y alejamiento de los valores evangélicos: aumento de la indiferencia religiosa en las ciudades, corrupción de cos-tumbres (matrimonio civil, concubinato) y disminución de las prácticas religiosas. Las nuevas doctrinas (socia-lismo y laicismo) y el avance del protestantismo, aparecen como los verdaderos enemigos de la Iglesia.
The process of secularization in the Glorius Revolution (1868-1874) is reflected in the reports that the bishops of the different dioceses sent to Rome. They pointed out the increasing globalization and that the evan-gelic values: such as the increased of the religious indifference in the cities, the corruption of customs (civil marriage, concubinage) and the decrease of religious practices. The new doctrines (socialism and secularism) and the advance of Protestantism, appeared as the true enemies of the Church.
