In Spain, the model of education proposed by the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) represents a change in teachingmethodology and planning that affects all involved in a degree course. The question is where this change really leads. To findanswers, the UPC’s (Universitat Polite`cnica de Catalunya) Escola Polite`cnica Superior d’Edificacio ́Barcelona (EPSEB) organisedsurveys for teachers, students and administration staff after a year of implementation of the EHEA. The students had completed atleast an academic year in both pre- and post-EHEA courses. We also examined changes in academic results in both models. Thisarticle presents the results of both analyses and provides conclusions that may differ from general expectations.
