    El presente artículo pretende explicar los tópicos más importantes referentes a la traición, perfidia y cinismo presentes en los personajes de la novela Curipamba del escritor Ángel Felicísimo Rojas. La novela se convierte en un instrumento de denuncia social, la misma permite recrear la difícil realidad en la cual se encontraban los trabajadores de la mina Curipamba. En ella vemos cómo el aparataje industrial representado en Mr. Spencer busca apropiarse de lo ajeno sin piedad (recursos auríferos) en complicidad cínica y culposa de los representantes del Estado (Cleofe Jiménez). Esa relación de explotador-explotado se configura con base en el dolor y sufrimiento de los menesterosos mineros de Curipamba. Por otro parte, aparece una contraposición progresista del ingeniero Alejandro Sevilla, el cual busca reivindicar laboral y económicamente a sus congéneres explotados.

    The present article tries to explain the most important topics related to the betrayal, perfidy and cynicism present in the characters of the novel Curipamba by the writer Ángel Felicísimo Rojas. The novel becomes an instrument of social denunciation; it allows to recreate the difficult reality in which the workers of the Curipamba mine were. In it we see how the industrial apparatus represented in Mr. Spencer seeks to appropriate the alien without mercy (gold resources) in cynical and culpable complicity of the representatives of the State (Cleofe Jimenez). This exploiter-exploited relationship is based on the pain and suffering of the poor miners of Curipamba. On the other hand, there appears a progressive opposition of the engineer Alejandro Sevilla, which seeks to claim labor and economically to their exploited congeners.
