Estratégias, finalidades e contribuições da Entomologia no ensino de Ciências e Biologia

    Nesse artigo, buscamos reunir, organizar e analisar os relatos de experiência e de pesquisa acerca da utilização de diferentes estratégias pedagógicas para o estudo da Entomologia no Ensino Básico, a fim de apresentar um estudo documental de como a Entomologia tem sido trabalhada em diferentes níveis de ensino. Portanto, adotamos estratégias de análise qualitativa para analisar os dados coletados por meio da busca das palavras-chave correlatas ao tema investigado. Verificamos que os pesquisadores têm desenvolvido diferentes estratégias para o ensino de Entomologia, com vista à conservação de espécies ou de ambientes naturais, além das propostas relacionadas ao conhecimento da morfologia dos insetos, ou até para explorarem outros conceitos, como a diferença entre o conceito de evolução e metamorfose. Logo, concluímos que as estratégias pedagógicas referidas nesse artigo podem ser viáveis, porém são necessários estudos rigorosamente fundamentados em referenciais teóricos, psicológicos ou sociológicos para que inferências sejam possíveis no sentido de analisar as contribuições desses recursos na aprendizagem dos estudantes.

    About the use of different pedagogical strategies for the study of Entomology in Basic Education, in order to present a documentary study of how Entomology has been worked on at different levels of education. Therefore, we adopted qualitative analysis strategies to analyze the data collected through the search of keywords related to the investigated theme. We verified that the researchers have developed different strategies for the teaching of Entomology, and they are concerned with the conservation of species or natural environments, in addition to the proposals related to the knowledge of the morphology of insects, or even to explore other concepts, such as the difference between concepts of evolution and metamorphosis. We conclude that the pedagogical strategies mentioned in this article may be feasible, but there is a need of rigorously studies based on theoretical, psychological or sociological references so that inferences are possible in the sense of to analyze the contributions of these resources in student’s learning.
