    El presente trabajo pretende explorar el papel de los estados y su soberanía frente a una economía subordinada al capitalismo globalizado teniendo como una de sus consecuencias la falta de defensa de los pueblos indígenas frente a los expolios de las grandes multinacionales. En este caso en concreto se analizará a la empresa Benetton y su negocio de la tierra en Argentina y como esto está afectando a las comunidades mapuches de la región.

    The present work seeks to explore the role of the nations about their sovereignty against an economy under the rules of the globalize capitalism. One of their consequences are the vulnerability of the indigenous people against the multinationals’ power. Exactly in this case, it will be analyzed the company Benetton and its affairs in Argentina, and how this is changing the “mapuches” communities of the region.
