Tuñón contra Borges: La división del campo antiperonista en la segunda mitad de la década de 1950

    Resumen: El objetivo de este trabajo es rastrear, a partir de algunas afirmaciones puntuales en torno al peronismo que Raúl González Tuñón realiza en la entrevista que mantiene en 1973 con Horacio Salas, la distancia que el poeta plantea respecto de los posicionamientos antiperonistas de Borges y otros representantes políticos del liberalismo argentino. Interesa revisar los diversos argumentos -políticos, literarios, estéticos- que sostienen la oposición al peronismo en Tuñón y en Borges, en la me dida en que esos argumentos ponen a funcionar una concepción de pueblo distante, diferente y hasta opuesta, que separa y vuelve irreconciliables sus posiciones intelectuales ante el fenómeno peronista. Asimismo, se ubica la posición antiperonista de Tuñón en el marco de los nuevos debates en torno al peronismo que se abren tras su caída en 1955.

    Abstract: The objective of this paper is to locate, based on some specific assertions about the Peronism that Tuñón makes in the interview that he maintains in 1973 with Horacio Salas, the distance that the poet sets out with respect to the Borges' anti-Peronist positions and other political representatives of the Argentine liberalism. It's interesting to review the various arguments -political, literary, aesthetic- that maintain the opposition to Peronism in Tuñón and Borges, according to these arguments put to work a conception of "people" distant, different and even opposite that separates and makes irreconcilable their intellectual positions before the Peronism. As well, is located the Tuñón's position of Peronism within the time frame of the new debates around Peronism that are opened after its fall in 1955.
