  • This article presents forecasting strategies and aggregate control of inventories with probabilistic demand in an importing and trading company. The objective is to show the potential economic and strategic benefits offered using forecasting methodologies for operational planning and the application of coordinated item control policies, which is a better practice than individual optimization of articles.
