In this paper we will try to explore the religious spaces of the Late Middle Ages and Early Modernity from the perspective of the history of the senses, interested in rebuilding the sensory world that operates in societies and the different meanings that reach the senses, because through them a culture experience their world and leaves traces of it. We inquire us about the late medieval Castilian sensory universe, asking ourselves what sounds heard men and women of the Castilian Late Middle Ages? What was the role played by these sounds in society? Through what sound objects are produced these sounds? To answer these questions, we will analyze the sound of one of the religious spaces of the diocese of Avila, Segovia and Plasencia of the kingdom of Castile, from its synodal legislation gathered in the Synodicon Hispanum (critical collection).
