    Sin que depositemos expectativas inacabadas en el espacio público queremos valorizarlo como un campo de disputa interesante en el hacer de la ciudad y, en consecuencia, como productor y producto de las relaciones sociales que en él se desarrollan. El formato de ciclovías recreativas es, en ese sentido, innovador en tanto reconversión del espacio público al abrirse temporalmente las calles a los ciudadanos de manera gratuita mientras se las cierra para el tránsito a motor. Sin caer en una visión romántica de este tipo de circuitos, se trata de espacios públicos percibidos como seguros aún cuando no lo sean en la cotidianeidad de la ciudad. A la luz del caso rosarino: ¿Qué factores contribuyen a reducir la incertidumbre y el peligro y, por tanto, el miedo en el espacio público? ¿Quiénes se encuentran y para qué en la CR en la ciudad de Rosario?

    Without placing unfinished expectations in the public space we want to value it as a field of interesting dispute in the making of the city and, as a consequence, as a producer and product of the social relations that develop in it. The format of recreational cycle lanes is, in this sense, innovative in the conversion of public space by temporarily opening the streets for free to citizens while closing them for motor traffic. Without falling into a romantic vision of this type of circuits, these are public spaces perceived as safe even if they are not in the daily life of the city. In light of the case of Rosario: What factors contribute to reducing uncertainty and danger and, therefore, fear in the public space? Who are they and what for in the CR in the city of Rosario? Who and what for meet at CR in the city of Rosario? Is the different occupation of this public space, coupled with certain mechanisms of state containment of the same, sufficient to reduce the sense of insecurity?
