    La justicia restaurativa representa uno de los pilares cualitativos más importantes del sistema de justicia penal acusatorio, asimismo se erige como un modelo diferente para materializar justicia jurídica al seno del tejido social. No obstante, este cambio sustancial en la forma de operar el sistema necesita que sus receptores lo asuman como suyo, lo entiendan y comprendan, pero para ello se necesita que la hegemonía cultural inquisitiva en que se concebía la impartición de justicia se vea sustituida por una hegemonía cultural de la reparación del daño, derivada de los acuerdos que los participantes tomen a bien determinar.

    Restorative justice represents one of the most important qualitative pillars of the accusatory criminal justice system; it also stands as a different model to materialize legal justice on the society. However, this substantial change in the way of operating the system requires that its citizens accept it as theirs, understand it, but for this it is necessary that the inquisitive cultural hegemony in which the dispensation of justice was conceived is replaced by a cultural hegemony of the repair of damage, derived from the agreements that the participants take to determine.
