Resumen de La adolescencia: una mirada en positivo

Los profesionales de la educación social necesitamos revertir el discurso general sobre la adolescencia para transformarlo en un discurso en positivo. Hoy ya nadie se plantearía hablar mal de la infancia en público, o hacerlo como si fuera un problema. De la adolescencia, en cambio, lo seguimos haciendo e incluso está bien visto. Necesitamos una mirada en positivo, no ingenua, ni con pena, sobre esta etapa de la vida. Ya disponemos de suficiente conocimiento técnico para argumentar esta mirada. El cómo vemos, depende mucho de nuestras creencias. En ese sentido, el artículo aporta información para facilitar la aparición de nuevas creencias. Por un lado, sobre el funcionamiento del cerebro adolescente.
Por otro, sobre las vivencias ajenas, pero también propias, de cuando éramos adolescentes.
Por último, se aborda el uso del humor y de la creatividad por parte de las chicas y chicos como contribución a esa manera de verlos en positivo

Social education professionals need to reverse the general discourse about adolescence to transform it into a positive discourse. Today, no one would consider speaking badly about childhood in public, or doing it as if it were a problem. In adolescence, we continue to do it and it is even well seen. We need a positive, not naive, or sad look on teens. We already have enough technical knowledge to argue this look. How we look depends a lot on our beliefs. In that sense, the article provides information to facilitate the emergence of new beliefs. On the one hand, about the functioning of the adolescent brain.
On the other, about the experiences of others, but also our own, when we were teenagers. Finally, the use of humor and creativity by girls and boys as a contribution to that positive look is addressed.
