Resumen de Deux épigrammes de l’Anthologie Palatine attribuées à Théophane

The Palatine Anthology transmits two epigrams attributed to a certain Theophanes, without further specification. The editor does not exclude that this Theophanes is Theophanes of Sigriani, co-author of the Theophanes' Chronicle. However, it is not certain that these epigrams are the work of the same person. Their writing should be placed towards the end of the 9th century, after Theophanes of Sigriani, whose death is accurately dated Mars 12, 818.

L´ Anthologie Palatine transmet deux épigrammes attribués à un certain Théophane, sans autre spécification. L’ éditeur H. Beckby n' exclut pas que ce Théophane soit Théophane de Sigriani, coauteaur de la Chronique de Théophane . Or il n'est pas certain que ces deux épigrammes soient l' oeuvre de la même personne. Leur rédaction doit être placée vers la fin du Ixe siècle, bien après la mort de Théophane de Sigriani, datée avec précision le 12 mars 818.
