  El artículo aborda el pensamiento filosófico de Pedro Laín Entralgo, en particular sobre el descubrimiento del otro y el encuentro interhumano, en vistas a la fundamentación de la convivencia sobre la base de la práctica del diálogo, el respeto a la alteridad y la valoración de la diferencia. A través del análisis de los contextos del encuentro y de las situaciones de conflicto, la objetivación del otro y la tensión entre ―los otros‖ y el ―nosotros‖, el pensamiento y el deseo de comunidad y la importancia de la comunicación interhumana, el artículo muestra la vitalidad y vigencia de este pensador para el debate reflexivo y crítico sobre los problemas actuales de la construcción de la vida en común

  The article talks about the philosophical thinking of Pedro Laín Entralgo, in particular about the discovery of the other and the interhuman encounter, in view of the foundation of coexistence based on the practice of dialogue, respect for otherness and the appreciation of the difference. Through the analysis of the contexts of encounter and conflict situations, the objectification of the other and the tension between "the others" and the "us", the thought and desire of community and the importance of interhuman communication, the article shows the vitality and validity of this thinker for the reflective and critical debate on the current problems of the construction of life in common.
