    El trabajo explora las relaciones que surgen entre la ciudad y la región, dentro de las nuevas dinámicas que ha tomado la urbanización en el mundo. Se propone comprender ambos sistemas como productos geo-socio-históricos que se articulan en su desarrollo. La ciudad-región es una de las manifestaciones espaciales más notable de este proceso.

    The work explores the relationships that emerge between the city and the region within the new dynamics that has taken the urbanization in the world, starting to understand both systems as geo-socio-historical products that are articulated in its development, a process that has as one of its most notable spatial manifestations the city-region.
