    Mediante una combinación de los géneros de crónica y ensayo, en este artículo se pretende relatar y analizar los acontecimientos que condujeron al racionamiento eléctrico de 1992-1993, el más largo en la historia de Colombia. Es una historia de la gestión pública en una época de cambio de modelo y orientación ideológica de la economía, pero también una historia de las relaciones entre política y tecnocracia.

    Through a combination of essay and chronicle, this presentation describes the facts surrounding the electricity rationing in Colombia during 1992-1993, the longest in the history of the country, which consequences were the foundations and provided an excuse to reinvent a brand new electric industry. In the same line, this is a history of the relations between government-politics and the technocracy managing this segment of the economy.
