Producción científica sobre psicología educativa: un avance desde la mirada latinoamericana

    La investigación describe la producción científica latinoamericana sobre psicología educativa, durante los años 2010 al 2018. Se realizó un estudio teórico analizando 3586 artículos indizados en la base de datos Scopus, se excluyó todo aquel tipo de publicación que no cuente con la estructura IMRYD. Se registraron 3874 autores con afiliación a instituciones latinoamericanas, el año de mayor producción científica es el 2018 y Brasil destaca como el país con mayorpublicación, seguido de México y Chile. Latinoamérica representa el 6.6% de la producción científica mundial de la variable estudiada. Se hace necesario fortalecer e incentivar la generación y divulgación de los estudios científicos.

    The research describes the Latin American scientific output regarding educational psychology, during the years 2010 to 2018. A theoretical study was conducted analyzing 3586 articles indexed in the Scopus database. All publications that do not have the IMRYD structure were excluded. 3874 Authors with affiliation to Latin American institutions were registered. The year with the greatest scientific production was 2018 and Brazil stands out as the country with the most publications, followed by Mexico and Chile. Latin America represents 6.6% of the world's scientific output of the variable studied. It is necessary to strengthen and encourage the generation and dissemination of scientific studies.
