    En las últimas décadas las estrategias en la educación resuelven los problemas de la práctica pedagógica. Ellas, son alternativas para lograr los objetivos a corto, mediano o largo plazo. De manera específica, en la Escuela Latinoamericana de Medicina, se lleva a cabo una estrategia doctoral con el objetivo de incrementar la calidad científica del claustro y, por ende, el número de doctores en ciencia, de la institución. Asimismo, se revela la falta de sistematicidad en la actividad científico investigativa de los profesores, relacionada con la formación doctoral, el limitado conocimiento de la teoría de la Educación Avanzada para el sustento teórico de las investigaciones científicas que se realizan vinculando las ciencias médicas con las ciencias pedagógicas, además de la escasa producción intelectual por lo que el problema es: ¿Cómo contribuir a los resultados científicos de la estrategia doctoral institucional? Por consiguiente, se trazaron acciones relacionadas con la identificación del potencial para la estrategia doctoral, se gestionó los recursos necesarios para el desarrollo de las tesis, la aplicación del plan de acción específico e individualizado con cada uno de los profesionales que integren el potencial y la aspirantura, además del control, el seguimiento y la evaluación de la estrategia para la formación de los doctores en ciencia de la institución. De acuerdo con las acciones se logró un sustento teórico importante a partir de la sistematización y la aplicación de la teoría de la Educación Avanzada en las investigaciones científicas, se defendieron diez tesis con resultados satisfactorios y un se publicó gran número de artículos científicos

    In recent decades, strategies in education solve the problems of pedagogical practice. They are alternatives to achieve the short, medium or long term objectives. Specifically, in the Latin American School of Medicine, a doctoral strategy is carried out with the objective of increasing the scientific quality of the cloister and, therefore, the number of doctors in science, of the institution.

    Likewise, the lack of systematicity in the scientific research activity of the professors, related to the doctoral training, the limited knowledge of the theory of Advanced Education for the theoretical support of the scientific investigations that are carried out linking the medical sciences with the pedagogical sciences, in addition to the low intellectual production, so the problem is: How to contribute to the scientific results of the institutional doctoral strategy? Therefore, actions related to the identification of the potential for the doctoral strategy were drawn up, the necessary resources for the development of the thesis, the application of the specific and individualized action plan with each of the professionals that integrate the potential and the In addition to the control, monitoring and evaluation of the strategy for the training of doctors in science of the institution. According to the actions, an important theoretical support was achieved from the systematization and application of the theory of Advanced Education in scientific research, ten theses were defended with satisfactory results and a large number of scientific articles were published.
