En este estudio se parte de las primeras afirmaciones sobre el vínculo entre la norma sevillana y América, examinando con detalle sus bases y su evolución en los diferentes autores. Posteriormente se recuperan los datos lingüísticos que se han fijado como piedra angular para determinar su relevancia y su necesidad, con especial atención al seseo-ceceo y a las construcciones partitivas.

This study begins with the first statements about the link between the Sevillian norm and America and examines in detail its bases and its evolution in the different authors. Subsequently retrieves and reanalyses the linguistic data that have been set as a cornerstone to determine its relevance and need, with special attention to the seseo-ceceo and to the partitive constructions
