    En el siglo XXI varios autores han tratado de revisar y plasmar escénicamente la etapa de la Transición española. Nos proponemos analizar tres obras de dramaturgos nacidos en los años 60 que ofrecen visiones críticas sobre este período. En El bordell, de Lluïsa Cunillé, varios personajes se citan en un prostíbulo cerca de la frontera con Francia, veinticinco años después de la noche del 23-F. Transición, escrita por Alfonso Plou y Julio Salvatierra, evoca, bajo el prisma de la teatralidad y el juego actoral, episodios cruciales antes y durante el gobierno de Adolfo Suárez, personaje que deviene símbolo de la desmemoria colectiva. El Rey, de Alberto San Juan, pieza inscrita en la corriente de teatro periodístico, focaliza en la etapa de la Transición a partir de la figura del monarca emérito Juan Carlos I.

    In the 21st century, several authors have tried to revise and stage the Spanish Transition. We propose to analyze three works by playwrights born in the 60s that offer critical visions about this period. In El bordell, by Lluïsa Cunillé, severa characters meet in a road brothel on the border with France, twenty-five years after the night of 23-F. Transición, written by Alfonso Plou and Julio Salvatierra, evokes, under the prism of theatricality and the acting game, crucial episodes before and during the government of Adolfo Suárez, a character that becomes a symbol of collective dementia. El Rey, by Alberto San Juan, is a play inscribed in the current of journalistic theater and it focuses on the period of the Transition from the figure of the emeritus monarch Juan Carlos I.
