    Una de las obras más conocidas de Juan Mayorga, Himmelweg, trata del poder de las representaciones para manipular y esconder la verdad, así como de la responsabilidad individual ante la Shoah. Esta temática está imbricada en una estructura deudora al mismo tiempo de las ideas aristotélicas sobre el teatro y la estética rupturista del teatro épico brechtiano, lo que provoca una total correspondencia entre forma y fondo que lleva al espectador a una crítica del ilusionismo.

    One of the best-known works of Juan Mayorga, Himmelweg, deals with the power of representations to manipulate and hide the truth, as well as individual responsibility regarding the Shoah. This theme is imbricated in a structure that owes, at the same time, to the Aristotelian ideas about the theater and the rupturistic aesthetics of the Brechtian epic theater. The total correspondence between form and background leads the viewer to a critique of illusionism.
