    El teatro independiente es reconocido por la historiografía como uno de los acontecimientos más relevantes del teatro latinoamericano, con origen en Buenos Aires, en 1930, y luego irradiado a las provincias argentinas y a Latinoamérica. Se opuso al statu quo del teatro de aquellos años e impulsó una organización anticapitalista, constituyéndose como una práctica colectiva contestataria a la que podemos considerar política per se.

    Asimismo, en el presente trabajo, nos ocuparemos de analizar los vínculos con la macropolítica —el Estado y los partidos políticos— que entablaron tres de los primeros grupos de teatro independiente.

    Independent theater is recognized by historiography as one of the most relevant events of Latin American theater, it is originating in Buenos Aires in 1930, and then it was irradiated to the Argentine provinces and Latin America. It opposed to the statu quo of the theater of those years and promoted an anticapitalist organization, it constituting itself as a collective contestation practice to which we can consider politics per se.

    Also, in the present work, we will analyze the links with the macropolitics —the State and the political parties— that three of the first independent theater groups established.
